Printed a load of articles from the net .. which is my frequent Monday past time ... topics range from "Twelve traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous" to "Globalization". And a load of Christian stuff in between :-) The AA 12 traditions is to help me re-think about organizations like the church, the globalization stuff is well .. to find out what on earth is going on here on EARTH. I'm still getting used to this blogging thingy ... Kyrie Eleison ... (Latin for Lord have mercy)
Herbert Tan (from M'sia Campus Crusade for Christ & part-time lecturer with STM) came and shared today on "For such a time as this" reflecting on September 11 and sharing on some thoughts for us in Malaysia. I appreciated the idea of being people who don't runaway from disaster but run into disaster to make a difference ... I could help but think of the firefighters and rescue teams that so courageously risked their lives for others. And the challenge to "connect" with our Muslim neighbours, colleagues and friends was a timely reminder ... we ended with two songs for our Worship Gathering ... "Lord make us Instruments of Peace" and "Hop on the Bus ... God's on the move!" that pretty much sums up my response!

I just decided to start my own weblog. Karen Ward from ELCA was the first person to nudge me in this direction. The Newsweek article sparked a greater interest. Ah! I dunno what I'm getting myself into ... well ... let's see what happens. Just came back from pre-natal class with May Chin, it was fun. The refreshments were good!
